Dehradun: The survey work for Master plan for Gangotri, Yamunotri and other towns of Tehri and Uttarkashi districts has been going on. Professional companies with proven track record of giving good results are being shortlisted for construction of modern lavatories and better garbage management in towns and cities of hilly areas. A policy decision regarding construction and management of parking places in hill towns will be taken in the state cabinet soon. The work to improve the quality of roads in tehri and Uttarkashi districts has been going on and likely to be completed by June 2019.

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat taking cognizance of problem of garbage management in hilly towns strictly instructed all the district magistrates to ensure arrangements for effective garbage disposal systems. Chief Minister while announcing Muni-ki- Reti as a tourist spot instructed that roads be widened at the earliest keeping in view the problems of traffic faced by tourists and providing them with better facilities.

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat through video conferencing reviewed the progress of the announcements made by him for the assembly constituencies of Tehri and Uttarkashi districts. Uttarakhand cabinet minister Madan Kaushik, Subodh Uniyal, incharge minister of Uttarkashi/Tehri Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, legislators namely Gopal Singh Rawat, Shakti Lal Shah, Vijay Singh Panwar, Vinod Kandari, Preetam Singh Panwar, Rajkumar, Kedar Singh Rawat, Dhan Singh Negi, Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh,senior officials of the administration, district magistrates of Tehri and Uttarkashi along with other district level officers were present in the meeting.

Ghansli- Taking a serious view of delay in the construction of trenching ground for garbage disposal, Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat instructed district administration to ensure effective management of garbage disposal at the earliest. The construction work of a helipad at Ghansali has been going on and lighting arrangement at Ghansali market has also been provided. The 70 per cent work on the Mathkundi-Pangrian motor road in Bhilangana block has been completed and the rest of the work will be completed by June 2019. The work to improve the quality of Moolgarh-Thela-Tharthi motor road has been going on which is expected to be completed by June 2019.The work to open branches of cooperative bank at Buddhakedar and Dhamatoli has been going on.

Devprayag- Regarding the developmental works in Devprayag assembly segment it was informed that the construction work of primary health centre, Hisariyakhal and polytechnique building at Hindolakhal will be started within a month. The work of beautification of Ghantakaran temple will also start soon.

Narendernagar- Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat instructed that Muni-ki-Reti be declared as a tourist spot. Keeping in view the problems of traffic and other facilities by tourists, he instructed for ensuring widening of roads of Muni-ki-Reti at the earliest. The district administration informed that the work putting up signages and lighting has been going on. The stone work of Dabarkhal to Bhainsyaro motor road has been going on and likely to be completed by June 2019. A sum of Rs.20 lakh has been released for reconstruction and beautification of Ghantakaran Mahadev temple at Narendernagar.

Pratapnagar- Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat instructed that the Dobrachanti bridge in Pratapnagar should be completed by January 26,2019. The district administration informed that 90 per cent of the work to develop Sem Mukham area in Pratapnagar as a tourist spot has been completed. The work of constructing rain shelters, toilets, pathway, landscaping, beautification around the temple, electrification, providing water at a cost of Rs.12 crore has been going on. The work to improve the quality of roads has been going on and is likely to be completed by June 2019.

Tehri- A total of eleven announcement made by Chief Minister out of total 22 announcements have been completed and work on remaining nine announcements have been going on. It was informed that the land for mini stadium at Chamba has been identified. The construction work of circuit house has been going on. The work to link E-mandi with newly built Collection Centre at Nagni will start within a week. The work to improve the quality of roads in Tehri has also been going on. The helipad near Koti colony will be completed by June 2019.

Yamunotri- Regarding the developmental works in Yamunotri, the work on master plan has been going on. The construction of ropeway from Jankichatti to Yamunotri will be undertaken. The air services from Chinyalisaur air strip will also start soon. A sum of Rs. ten lakh for development of Kharsali temple has been released. The mini secretariat at Jakhol will be used as an inspection house. The work on Gangan-Pavani track route has started. A Detailed Project Report (DPR) for beautification of ancient ‘Mahasu Devta’ temple at Bhankoli at a cost of Rs.49 lakh has also been prepared. The approval for 12 kilometer long Dodra-Kanwar road in Mori Natwar area will given within two months. The construction work of community marriage hall at Gangnani is under progress. The land for play ground at Ravada of Nagangoan, mini stadium at Gangnani and play ground at Ramgarhi has been identified.

Gangotri: Chief Minister issued orders that in the Gangotri area, funds of Rs 60 lakh for the route/swing bridge between Nelang Valley and Gartank Street should be allocated. It was informed in the meeting that construction of vehicle parking in Gangotri is getting done by the ONGC. The arrangement of ICU and River Front Development in Uttarkashi are under progress.
Dhanaulti: It was informed in the meeting that the proceedings on the Anand Chak Pumping Drinking Water Scheme, Banali Pumping Scheme, Construction of building of tehsil Nainbagh, Missing of the Thateud Marad Motorway, construction of building of Thateud Government Inter College and Dhanaulti Master Plans are under progress.

Purola: In Purola, for setting up of agriculture market in Purola/Naugaon by the Horticulture Department, the land at Dhari Malli in Naugoan is being transferred in the name of Bhumi Mandi Samiti Uttarkashi. Financial approval has been given by the government for construction of tube wells in Ramasirai, Purola. Letters to BSNL has been sent for the installation of the Mobile Tower for the expansion of telecommunication facilities in Mori.
