Twenty lakh families in the state will be brought under Ayushman Bharat Ayushman Uttarakhand

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat, on the occasion of completion of the four years of the union government, attends a programme of the beneficiaries of the central schemes under Doiwala Vidhan Sabha

Dehradun : Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat, on the occasion of the completion of the four years of the union government, attended a programme of the beneficiaries of the central schemes at a local banquet hall in Doiwala assembly segment. On this occasion, Chief Minister in his address said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has taken a pledge to make India corruption free.

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has set the target to build a ‘New India’ by year 2022, in which everyone will get facility of own house, toilet and pure drinking water. Every house has electricity and everyone has a electricity connection. In this direction, in these four years, strong steps have been taken. Under the ‘Ujjwala Yojana’, women from poor families are being provided free of cost LPG connections. On the appeal of the Prime Minister, as many as 2 crore people in the country have given-up LPG subsidy. From this money, poor are being given free of cost LPG connections.

People who do not fulfil this eligibility but if their annual income is less than Rs 2.5 lakhs, then the state government is providing free of cost LPG connections to them as well. Under PMs ‘Ayushman Bharat’ Scheme, 5.38 lakh families in Uttarakhand would be benefitted. While expanding the scheme, the State government has decided to bring 20 lakh families under the ‘Ayushman Bharat Ayushman Uttarakhand’. From coming August 15, 2018, this scheme would be launched.

Under the Prime Minister ‘Awas Yojana’, more than 1 lakh families would be provided affordable accommodation by year 2021. State government has taken strong steps in the direction of fulfilling the target set by the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to double farmers income by year 2022.

Under the ‘Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kisan Kalyan Yojana’, loan upto Rs 1 lakh is being disbursed at mere interest rate of 02 per cent. He said that if we get the desired results of the scheme, then it would be expanded. In order to double the income of farmers, government has made 1.5 times MSP on the production cost. Soil Health Card scheme will help the farmers to get the correct information about the deficiencies in soil. By which they will be able to increase their production by using proper fertilizer.

Chief Minister said that the mother and child are also being given 6000 rupees annually. Along with this, Rs 6000 per annum is being made available for the nutrition of TB patients. The Chief Minister called upon the people and said that the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, who has taken resolve to strengthen the country, needs all of you to cooperate. On this occasion, BJP Dehradun President Shamsher Singh Pundir, Senior BJP leader Vinay Rohela and others were present.
